Detail Itinerary
Day 01
Arrival in Kathmandu (1330m) and transport to hotel
Upon your arrival a representative from Carabiner Holidays takes you to the hotel for check in and gives you time to relax after your journey. In the evening we have welcome dinner and during the dinner your guide will be introducing the coming day’s activities to you.
Day 02
Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Half day sightseeing with guide in the world heritage site Kathmandu Durbar Square including a walk through the local market and narrow backstreets of the old part of the city. And overnight in the same hotel.
Day 03
Kathmandu to Bandipur
After the breakfast, we drive to Bandipur. It is one of the best Hill Stations in Nepal takes about 4.5 hours of drive from Kathmandu. It is a small mountain town with a unique geographical formation and a unique history behind it. It believes that it was a center of exotic trade between lowland and highland and between British India and independent Tibet. Make short walk around village. And overnight in Bandipur.
Day 04
Bandipur to Nayapool, via Pokhara then trek to Tikhedhunga
Breakfast at the hotel and we leave for Pokhara (beautiful town) known as city of Lakes. It takes about 3 hours of drive from Bandipur. After that we continue to Nayapool takes around 1 hrs. 30 minutes. It is our starting point of trek and being walking towards Birethanti. Here, we cross the river and head left along the gentle slope to Tikhehunga. The trail is quite easy and our way gradually uphill walking a gravel road nearby Hile. Then we continue walk step uphill more 20 minutes to be in Tikhedhunga, here we have overnight.
Day 05
Trek to Ghorepani (2800m)
After breakfast, we continue our trek and the trail was quite challenging. In Tikhedhunga, we cross the two suspension bridge over Bhurungdi River and walk the long steep climb to Ulleri takes two hours. Then the trail goes gradual upward. The whole trail leads you through villages and Rhododendron forest. Then eventually reach the village Ghorepani, where we spend the night today.
Day 06
Trek to Tadapani (2710m)
Early morning, we hike to Poon Hill take an hour to see sun rise view over the mountain. Poon Hill is the one of the best breathtaking panorama view point in Nepal. We can see the Dhauligiri to Manaslu range including the famous Mountain peak Machhapurche- Fishtail. You can enjoy taking coffee, tea, hot chocolate with panorama view of mountain from here. Then we hike to Ghorepani for the breakfast with panorama view of mountain, after that we head towards Tadapani. The trail towards to Tadapani, make climb along through Rhododendron and Pine forest to Deurali. Then we descend to Banthanti and turn off to Tadapani. Another, great place to take in close up views of the mountain and it is pleasant walk through a lush green forest.
Day 07
Trek to Ghandruk (1970m)
In the morning, you will have spectacular views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Mt. Fishtail with sunrise view. After the breakfast we continue the walk ahead to Ghandruk. The trail leads down to the Bhaisekharka the dense oak and Rhododendron forest crossing the small stream. The forest is alive with the sound of birds and small tumbling waterfalls. Along the way we can enjoy the scenic view of snow-capped mountains also. The pleasant walk through the forest will reach to the Ghanruk. Ghandruk, is one of the largest Gurung settlements in Western Nepal. You can have good views of Gangapura, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Mount Annapurna and other snow-capped mountains. You can visit the Annapurna Mountain Conservation Area Project (ACAP) headquarters, the local museum and the village.
Day 8
Trek to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara (823m)
In the morning, you can enjoy breakfast with spectacular views of Annapurna South, Mt. Fishtail, Himchuli, etc. in the north side. After that we hike to Nayapul. The trail is down to Shaulibazar then we walk on gravel road up to Nayapul. It takes almost 5 hours to be in Birethanti for Lunch. Then walking half an hour we will be in Nayapul. From here, we will drive to Pokhara and overnight in Hotel.
Day 9
Rest day
It is totally free day for our guest. You can relax and enjoy yourself in lakeside.
Day 10
Pokhara to Tansen
Morning depart for Tansen and on arrival check in at hotel. It is very low traffic and scenic road. Tansen is a very interesting ancient hill station with amazing mountain views on a clear day. After lunch, sightseeing trip to ancient Tansen town.
Day 11
Tensen to Lumbini
After breakfast, we depaet to Lumbini and afternoon visit Lumbini like as Secret Garden, Maya Devi Temple where Buddha’s Mother giving birth to him, Ashokan Pillar which was erected by Emperor Ashoka to commemorate his pilgrimage to the sacred site, Puskarani or Holy Pond where Queen Mayadevi had taken a bath just before giving birth to the Buddha, overnight in hotel.
Day 12
Lumbini to Chitwan
After breakfast we head to Royal Chitwan National Park. We will have 2 nights and 3 days program. After check in hotel, there will be a guided village walk and a walk on the banks of the Rapti River to watch the charming sunset views in the sub-tropical jungle. In the evening, you will have dinner with cultural program by ethnic tribal people with their stick dance and tribal drums and overnight at hotel.
Day 13
Full day Jungle Safari activities
We will spend the day taking some exciting jungle activities, such as elephant back safari, elephant briefing, canoeing trip, nature walk, bird watching, etc. The Park is also home to rhinoceros, tigers, leopards, sloth bears, wild bison, 468 birds, butterflies, as well as the near extinct Gharials crocodiles. Overnight at hotel
Day 14
Chitwan to Kathmandu
After enjoying bird watching or jungle safari in the morning, we will fly to Kathmandu. On arrival at Kathmandu you will be transferred to Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur is an ancient city and is renowned for its elegant art, fabulous culture, colorful festivals, traditional dances and indigenous lifestyle of Newari community and overnight at hotel.
Day 15
Rest day
Free day ,It is time for shopping souvenirs for family and friends.
Day 16
Departure
According to your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the international airport.
